I-395 Express Lanes Project

This $28 Million public roadway project involves the addition of a third lane to the existing I-395 HOV, and a realignment of eight miles of the roadway, in preparation of four new toll gantries.

The scope of the project includes temporary paving for traffic shifts, milling, concrete joint repairs, full- depth paving, and overlay of the eight-mile stretch of roadway. Expected completion for the project is summer of 2020.
